HOKLAS-Approved Updated Standards & Signatories

Following our most recent HOKLAS assessment in June 2025, three of our divisions were subsequently awarded updated standards, namely;

1. The Ultrasonic Echo Sounder (Koden) Test in our Piling division was awarded the Hong Kong Concrete Institute TM3 Issue 2 (2024) updated standard.

2. The Flow Cone Method in our Grout division was awarded the updated standard of ASTM C939/C939M-16a.

3. Our Chemical division received the greatest number of updated standards, ten in total, all to various improved levels within BS EN 196-2: 2013.  These include for Silica Content, Iron Oxide Content, Aluminium Content, Calcium Oxide Content plus a number of Magnesium-related contents.  

Additionally, in our Waterworks Inspection division, we are proud to have nearly doubled the number of HKIAS-approved inspectors in recent months.  These additional inspectors has vastly grown our capabilities to take on additional jobs and further enhances our abilities to serve our customers' needs going forward.
